Genevieve Nnaji has reacted to the recent killings of two
young Nigerian women; a teenage girl, Tina Ezekwe who was killed by the police, and Vera Uwa Omozuwa, who was raped and murdered inside a church in the University of Benin. The talented Nollywood actress and filmmaker took to her Twitter account to speak on the issue, expressing that men either abuse their powers or have the power to abuse as women live in constant fear of them. In or out of uniform, we live in constant fear of men. Tina Ezekwe. Vera Omozuwa. Rest In Peace my darlings. We will get justice. However, it appears her tweet didn't sit well with some people who believe she was turning the issue into a war against men. According to them, generalizing was unfair and her tweet should have come out differently. Others, however, felt only those who were guilty of what she said, would be annoyed by her tweet which they believe was well put.
