BILLBOARD RELEASES THE LATEST HIGHEST PAID ARTISTE

Beyoncé is the supreme Queen on Billboard’s list of top earning artists in 2016,
raking in $62.1 million, inadvertently making last year the ‘Lemonade’ year.
Beyoncés major earnings last year came from her Formation World Tour, which brought around 54.7 million dollars. Industry sources reveal the tour reportedly sold 1.2 million tickets. The rest of Beyoncé’s earnings came from sales worth 4.3 million, online streaming worth 1.9 million, and publications worth 1.3 million.
In 2016, Beyoncé released her epic visual album – Lemonade. Queen Bey jumped up from not being on the list in the previous year, while between album cycles, to the first spot in a news that probably wouldn’t surprise anyone, given the 35-year-old artist’s critically acclaimed and highly personal album – Lemonade.

With a margin of nearly 20 million dollars, Beyoncé beat the second top earner on the list  – Guns ‘N’ Roses (earning 42.3 million dollars last year). The third top earner is Bruce Springsteen.
In fourth place is Drake who flexed his re-spins at $37.3 million, including a gargantuan $18.1 million from streaming alone. While Kanye (9th) and Rihanna (12th) also had incredible streaming numbers, but not nearly enough to top the “6 God” singer, who’s gotten his “One Dance” played billions of times.
Adele (5th), Coldplay (6th), Luke Bryan (8th), and Justin Bieber (7th) were all among the top earners, with Kenny Chesney rounding out the top 10.
Meanwhile, in a related development, Queen Bey has shared the first photo of her newborn twins and also confirmed their names on her Instagram page.

Bey introduced her and JAY-Z’s newest arrivals in a mother and baby shoot. “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today,” she wrote alongside the image, confirming that Sir and Rumi were welcomed into the world on June 14.
The accompanying photograph is a homage to her pregnancy announcement photo, and features the artist in pink floral dress sleeves and a long blue veil, in front of a wall of roses. It received 700,000 likes within 30 minutes of being posted. Beyoncé was also surrounded by a halo of flowers in her pregnancy photo shoot which was posted to Instagram on Feb. 1, where she wore a similar transparent veil.
Although this is the first official comment from Bey since the twins’ birth, the newborns’ names were actually revealed last month. In June, insider sources discovered that the names Rumi and Sir Carter had been registered as trademarks by the couple. It is speculated that the names are now trademarked to be used for fragrances and cosmetics, baby products, toys and novelty items.
The superstar singer and her husband, Jay-Z, 47, whose real name is Shawn Carter, are also parents to a 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. Jay-Z recently released his latest album 4:44, where he makes several references to his relationship with the US singer,
