The online war
started after Rihanna took to her page on Twitter to slam the United States president over the new executive order he signed on Friday.
In the tweet, Rihanna called the president a ‘pig’ and in return Azaelia Banks took to defending the president and slamming her fellow celebrity.Rihanna first took to her Twitter on Saturday (January 28) to express her grief over the ban.
“Disgusted! The news is devastating! America is being ruined right before our eyes! What an immoral pig you have to be to implement such BS!!” Rihannawrote.
Azealia snapped back on Instagram, condemning Rihanna and other celebrities for using their influence to “stir the public” and for chastising the president.
Rihanna decided to subtly reply back, posting a photo on her own Instagram with the caption “The face you make when you a immigrant,” and adding “#stayawayfromthechickens #iheartnuggets #saveourhens,” referencing Azealia‘s alleged chicken sacrificing.
The feud wasn’t over yet though, as the pair shared several more interactions including Azealiacalling out Rihanna‘s upbringing playing “soccer in a dirt field” to which Rihanna replied with a video playing soccer with some children from Northern Malawi.
